Can Listening to Healing Music Increase Your IQ?

Good morning...

As a music connoisseur, it has always been my understanding that listening to Mozart would increase your IQ and then in later years the idea was expanded from Mozart to all types of Healing Music Compositions.

Early researchers completed studies with groups of children and adults in an attempt to prove listening to Mozart increased their IQ. One such study was completed by the University of California,Irvine – this research study concluded that children who listened to Mozart during study activities usually scored higher than those children who listened to other music or no music.

As marketers got a hold of this notion of Mozart increasing IQ’s the results of such research have been over emphasized to such a point that marketers gave their spin of research results just so they could sell related products.

How does Calming Music Contribute to Proper pH Levels?

pH levels regulate, effect and control almost all things in nature, including your body. Cells are the building blocks of your body and your health – keep in mind it starts with proper pH levels!

To experience optimal health the pH of your body should be close to Alkaline – between 7.0 to 7.4.

You need to understand what the pH levels mean for your optimal health. The pH scale goes from 0 – 14, 0 being described as acidic and 14 is very Alkaline.

When you have a reading in the optimal range this is telling you , your inner-self is balanced. A reading of “very acidic”is telling you, that you may be at risk for serious disorders.

A slight pH imbalance could mean you feel tired, at this point your body could be struggling to digest foods. This could create your weight to increase and other aches could be bothersome.

What does calming music have to do with proper pH levels?

Reducing stress as much as possible in your daily life and incorporating a 30-minute regime of calming music into your daily routine, will promote healthy and proper pH levels. Adding exercise, such as tai chi, yoga, or meditation will further enhance relief of daily stress.

What does Harmonic Alignment mean to you?

What does it mean to live in harmony?

Who or what do we need to live in harmony with?

Sure we “talk” about living the good life – living in harmony – be at one with nature – so what and really who cares!

To live in harmony means physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. You must have heard someone say they feel out of alignment with the universe or something comparatively close.

When you are under constant stress, unfocused on what is really important in your life you are definitely not in a state of harmonic alignment. In fact it is when you are experiencing this state things get progressively worse. A child
accidentally spilling juice infuriates you, another driver cutting you off accidentally or intentionally – it doesn’t really
matter as either scenario enrages you.

You visit a friend or relative thinking your visit will help you deal with the stressors in your life and what happens -
they mention some small unimportant event which triggers a thought in your brain, which in turn puts you in a defensive
mode for some unknown reason to you, at the time.

Being in a state of peak mental and physical performance means you are in alignment with yourself and the universe.
Don’t discount the over simplicity of this explanation as it is difficult to break down the emotional barriers that can get in the way of continuing in a peak state. Read more »

Can You Quit Smoking Using Healing Music?

Weight loss has to be one of the biggest New Years resolutions, if not the biggest.

Where does quitting smoking rank on the New Years Resolution scale?

I believe quit smoking has to be close to the top of the resolution scale or possibly a tie with weight loss.

Both of these results are the effect of strong additions. Some experts believe quitting smoking is tougher than an addict kicking a heroine habit.

One of Elvis Presley s songs “All shook up” has a phrase which is so true when quitting smoking, even though his song was not about this very subject, the phrase is “My insides shake like a leaf on a tree.“  Anybody who has ever smoked for a length of time and attempted to quick knows this very feeling.

Even though there are dozens of product aids on the market to help you to quit smoking, your insides still shake like a leaf on a tree, at least a few times throughout the process.
