I received a call last night from a frustrated acquaintance, wondering why their email hasn’t been answered from last week.
This morning I opened up my email and there were a couple of messages from two other contacts wondering why their emails were being ignored! To add to this new email challenge, yesterday I showed up for an online meeting only to find it was canceled – LAST FRIDAY – and yes I received the email notice on this one too but missed it.

Emotions start to flood over you, the feeling of you being unreliable, worried that people will lose faith in you, angry at yourself for letting this happen, these are to name a few.
It is at this point you have had enough and once again it is time to clean up your email and re-organize your email files.
Today you decide to put all low priority tasks on hold, so you can get this micro project out of the way. Now sitting in front of your computer and staring at the screen is not going to help you out but what else can you do? You are overwhelmed by the disorganized clump of emails and the further you look into things the worse the picture gets – you can’t believe you missed 9 other important messages.
