There have been studies which back up these benefits do exist, not just through the use of healing music but through the use of many types of music. In order for you to experience benefits there has to be an interest in the music you listen to. The music may be classical, ambient, new age music, maybe old time rock n roll, some people love to relax to country music as long as there is not alot of negative lyrics.
Keep in mind we may “listen” to music at a conscious level but your subconscious takes more in than you are aware. The point here is, if you are listening to songs you love, the lyrics of the song may be quite negative and destructive therefore the subconscious is taking this in at a higher level. At some point in time an experience you go through may trigger negative emotions based on what is in your subconscious memory. Feed your mind positive, healthy information for long-term health. One of the tools to be used to compliment this goal is healing music.
