How many times everyday do you hear people complaining about the weather, the recession, the traffic, having to go to work, their spouse and/or children?
Some people complain so much they start to believe they are never the problem. It is everyone else around them who create the challenges in their lives. If you don’t believe this just ask them.
This past weekend I met a couple who had a great story to tell, which included flute music. In fact meeting them when I did was perfect timing, as my daughter was going
through similar turmoil and their story really helped her.
The couple we met, were in their mid 60′s and somehow we were involved in a conversation which took us to a time when they had busy jobs, five children to raise, and many daily challenges – the time would have been when they were in their mid 40′s.
From this point forward you can refer to the couple as Mr K. and Mrs K.
Mr K is a music professor at one of the local universities and Mrs K is a retired Registered Nurse, 38 years of working as an RN.
When they were in their mid 40′s they had a lot of daily challenges and both started to fall into the trap of blaming all of their turmoil on other circumstances, never their fault – the world was out to get them.
They had two teenage boys who knew everything and were always upset at the parents for their attitudes. In their early teens the boys experimented with drugs and alcohol, one even ran into trouble with the local authorities.
Mr and Mrs K woke one day realizing how their self pitied attitude had affected their environment around them. They were devastated when realizing the extent of trouble their boys were in. Mrs K was distraught and couldn’t believe the extent of their sons actions, these boys were brought up in a loving environment and aside from the self pity routine Mr and Mrs K fell into, she still could not understand – “the why”.
One day at the university where Mr K was working he confided in a close colleague who was shocked when hearing the news. Mr K’s colleague wanted to help, so he introduced Mr and Mrs K to a relaxation technique with the use of flute music.
He gave the couple instructions on how to properly use this relaxation technique over a period of 21 days. Being a music professor himself and hearing of similar techniques he agreed to the challenge.
During the first few days of using such a program, they both felt very uncomfortable with the idea however by the third day things were happening, positive changes were taking place:
Improved sleeping patterns
Improved appetite
Tolerance level was increasing again
Enhanced focus
On the 21st day of the program something amazing happened – not only did they now feel rejuvenated and cleansed, as if some magic drink washed all their problems away, but one of their sons came to them to ask about using this technique for themselves.
Apparently he had been listening from an adjacent room and decided to attempt some techniques without anyone knowing. He had also mentioned this to his brother, who was interested in changing his life around with this technique. Both of them noticed the huge changes in their parents and wanted to have similar results for their life’s.
Within 30 days of starting the use of this technique the boys had a complete turn around from their old lifestyle. They both stopped drinking, stopped using drugs and were now back in school with much better attitudes.
Over the next year Mr and Mrs K admitted there were the normal teenage challenges but never again did they have to deal with those types of issues. In fact, the other 3 children (Younger boy and two girls) incorporated this technique into their lives once they reached their teen years and the results were just as amazing. This technique actually helped them to overcome challenges without making too many wrong decisions.
We opened our article with a question – “Did You Know Flute Music Interferes With Your Life?” – all I can say is we have used the same relaxation technique and yes this technique interferes with your life in such a positive way. It can help tear down old negative, destructive habits helping you to replace them with positive and fulfilling goals. If you want to live a life of abundant personal power, then you need to have this a part of your life.
