The subject for today’s post is a bit different than what we are use to discussing however in saying that we will be discussing the basics of healing meditation which is relevant to this message. I have a question to start – Do You believe Angels are a part of every human’s life? The personal experiences I have had in life encourage me to answer yes to this question – what about you?

In talking to one of the readers of Healing Music Emporium this very subject was brought up but then she went one step further and mentioned she actually uses an angel as an effective guide to meditation. At first it was an uncomfortable conversation as I wasn’t sure how to respond to this subject since it was foreign to me. After discussing this with her I decided to research this and was amazed at the number of people like you and me who are actually searching this very term on google.

I even went so far to check out amazon and to my amazement there were books published about it. Most comments I reviewed came back to one principle, if you don’t believe in this technique you will not succeed in achieving peace of mind nor be healed of your condition.

Angels love and protect you and for as long as history remembers, angels have always been widely recognized. There will even be those of you who hope that when they begin to meditate, they will be enlightened. Or perhaps you’re one of those individuals who think that meditation is just like an exercise or diet that you’ve been trying to do for the past few months.

You may look at meditation as one of the many stress relief techniques which is a simple practice to engage in, you may need to look at this totally different and with an open-mind. You may not always be aware of it, but your mind is constantly racing with thoughts from one thought to another. It is hard to concentrate when this is happening and according to Victor Davich you need to watch your breath. This is considered the very first step to meditation. Twenty-first century living definitely has its advantages, such as Technology that produces results instantaneous, the amazing medical advancements, improved social conditions just to name a few. Even though all these advantages are present there is a down-side to today’s environment. With so much technology in your face, more is expected of you by employers, educators, your peers, family and friends. This tends to create an undue amount of stress on your mind and body, therefore a tool such as meditation accompanied with healing music has an enormous amount of popularity right now.

Here is a fact: Each day millions of people get up before the sun rises to perform routine tasks such as:

  • making breakfast
  • getting the children out of bed and ready for school

In my previous career I was an extremely busy professional with very little time to stop and think. Many of my days were spent managing the business, performing day-to-day responsibilities, jumping from one task right over to another – burn out would have been inevitable but I was lucky, I was able to manage my mental and physical health.

To combat the negative effects of my busy life-style I turned to an age-old art of meditation – Qi Qong and Healing Music. In my early days of practicing meditation and listening to this type of music I often found it hard to concentrate. I soon learned this was normal when you are first starting this type of strategy, especially when you know very little of the techniques and methods.
