How does Calming Music Contribute to Proper pH Levels?

pH levels regulate, effect and control almost all things in nature, including your body. Cells are the building blocks of your body and your health – keep in mind it starts with proper pH levels!

To experience optimal health the pH of your body should be close to Alkaline – between 7.0 to 7.4.

You need to understand what the pH levels mean for your optimal health. The pH scale goes from 0 – 14, 0 being described as acidic and 14 is very Alkaline.

When you have a reading in the optimal range this is telling you , your inner-self is balanced. A reading of “very acidic”is telling you, that you may be at risk for serious disorders.

A slight pH imbalance could mean you feel tired, at this point your body could be struggling to digest foods. This could create your weight to increase and other aches could be bothersome.

What does calming music have to do with proper pH levels?

Reducing stress as much as possible in your daily life and incorporating a 30-minute regime of calming music into your daily routine, will promote healthy and proper pH levels. Adding exercise, such as tai chi, yoga, or meditation will further enhance relief of daily stress.

Do You Know The Benefits To Play Music During Family Time?

With today’s busy lifestyle, do you take time out for you and your family?

Family time doesn’t appear to be at the top of the priority list anymore – video games, text messages, tv programs, all seem to have taken over our generation.

Yesterday, I was into our local health food store, checking out some new products, when I couldn’t help but over hear one of the customers.

She was talking about family time being a thing of the past, and that no one seems to value this anymore. During the conversation she mentioned how she has always kept at least one night out of the week for family time, whether it be to play games, discussions on various topics or just simply watching a favorite show together.

As her family grew older, the era of time changed as well, the family was no longer
interested in sitting together and continuing on with the tradition of family night. The
kids were more interested in sitting around talking to friends on their cell phones, text messaging, or listening to their music on their IPOD or MP3’s.

She went on to say, Read more »

What is the relation between music and the art of public speaking?

Recently I had the pleasure attending a public speaking event in Halifax, NS. At the time of enrolling for this event

there was no way to know, two class mates from High School would be there. It had been fifteen years since I
seen Dave and Bruce, at first I didn’t recognize Bruce when I entered the lobby of the World Trade and Convention Center, but Dave, there was no way I could miss him as he hadn’t changed his looks barely at all. (A little less hair)

In our high school days Dave was very shy and withdrawn and when I found out he was going to be a key speaker it just about floored me. Dave, shy Dave from Nova Scotia was going to be the keynote speaker – WOW!

During the event I couldn’t help but wonder what happen to Dave – how did he transform his life to a point where he was an exceptional public speaker. Before anytime you would attempt to get Dave to speak, he would sweat and stutter just at the mere thought of it.

After the event came to a close we had a half hour to get together to catch up on old times and during our
conversation here is the story Dave told me, about how he was able to master the art of public speaking: Read more »
